Digital Painting / Hand Drawing
The “ Crumple Identities ” is a collection of abstract and postmodernist portraits that describe and characterize individuals in society who are experiencing complexities and contradictions in their personalities and personal lives. These individuals may be grappling with mental health issues such as madness, anxiety, and behavioral problems. They may also be grappling with subjective feelings, challenges, conflicts, and concerns about their lifestyle, habits, and the hardships of their profession. These portraits are based on my personal observations and expression. The foundation, initially drawn by hand using the traditional pencil method, was subsequently sketched on paper and scanned and digitized for future refinement using professional art software. Given that the majority of the work is now performed digitally, I refer to these illustrations as digital illustrations. However, it is important to note that they are all drawn freehand in a continuous one-shot style, as described by me. The interpretations of the drawings undergo alterations when viewed from various angles or upside down, thereby altering the perspective.
